Description
This work premiered on the brass concert for "Music in the Mountains" in Nevada City, California; June 1993

Scored for 2 trumpets, 4 horns, 2 trombones, bass trombone and tuba.

This is a simple work employing two different scales in E and G#. the scales were superimposed over the over tone series in each key. Where no tone was available in the scale, to correspond to the harmonic series, the adjacent tones were given in quarter notes.

The similarity between the two scales is the cluster G#, A, B, C#. which gives us the second theme.

An improved edition was uploaded in June of 2020, and better record is also posted.
