Description
(1983, completed in 2015)

Movement one was completed in 1983 and I considered it a complete chamber symphony for many years.

In 2105 when I worked on the final copies of all of my chamber symphonies, I saw that really this original work was just one large movement that could compare to any romantic symphonic movement, so completed this work with a number of little fragments from my past Miranda Op. 72b has been torn up and used for movements two and three. I completed movement two on Sunday, March 8.

The second part of Miranda, Op. 72b is really a theme that belongs to a astral or planetary work, so this has been put aside for a "Dark Forrest Construction" a Mandala and a short Choral like final. Most of the work on the final two movements was done on March 10, 2015, a beautiful early spring day.
