This work brings back memories of the second incarnation of "Circle Concerts" In 1981 I performed my first solo concerts, and did well financially. so I start presenting concert. I titled the series Circle Concerts with the name based on George Leite's Circle Magazine which was published in Berkeley in the mid 1940's. My series was presented in North Berkeley.

The second incarnation of "Circle Concerts" took place after the demise of Sacramento Symphony. Concerts were presented in Sacramento, Davis, Napa, Chico and Roseville California. Over 60 concerts were presented!

This trio premiered on the Circle Concerts series in Sacramento in 1997.

A third movement was added in 2016.
