Description
I Ching Elements, Sextet for pairs of trumpets, horns and trombones.
The trumpet parts are quite high (to F) and a couple of movements need a bass trombone.
There are eight movements in this work:
No. 1 Projective (+, +, +) in F
No. 2 Lake (+,+,-) in G (on Brahms Symphony No. 1)
No. 3 Fire (+,-,+) in A
No. 4 Thunder (+, -, -) in G
No. 5 Receptive (-,-,-) in C
No. 6 Mountain in Bb (-,-,+)
No. 7 Wood (-,+,-) in B
No. 8 Wind (-,+,+) in E
The recording is trumpets, horns and tubas, but it way to hard for the average tubist!
